Visit Olympic National Forest

Yes, the United States has some secluded places and this is one of the largest forest that surrounds a few real life secluded glens!
Visit the Sol Duc Glen and Falls
There are open clearings in the forest here that gives spectacular piercing sunlight scenes. Look at this one below, it looks just like a rendition of an oil painting.
You get to see some wildlife as well. Even though this is one of the quietest places in America.
Lake Crescent sits in a large glen. This is a fairly deep lake that has a peaceful surreal environment. It is perfect for hiking and reflecting on life's meaning.
Olympic National Forest not only has a number of small forested secluded glens, it has a very large one too as shown above for Lake Crescent. This is the perfect place to pontificate your journey in life and have fun doing it.
