The Sahara is a timeless and endless sea of sand, the largest hot desert in the world.  This vastness also affords the largest quiet spot and secluded glen type place in the world.  It is challenging to find a spot to see this place safely and have a good time.

We searched the vast desert and across multiple countries on the African continent.  We came up with Anantara Sahara Tozeur Resort and Villas in Tunisia.  Tunisia is located at the northern most end of Africa in the central part.

How Do You Get There?
Anantara Sahara Tozeur is accessible by flying into the Tozeur-Nefta airport.  Then take a cab, private car, or train to the resort. 

When to Visit?
The best times are the spring and fall months.  So March to May and September to November. Summer months are scorching hot during the day and extremely dry.  Winter months can freeze at night.  So we highly recommend the more temperate months of Spring and Summer.  Remember, Tunisia is in the Northern Hemisphere so spring and summer are in the traditional months we listed. If you visit the Southern Hemisphere portion of Africa such as South Africa, the seasons are reversed.
